Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday morning March 13, 2015 at her residence. Esther was born February 25, 1923 in Chattanooga, Tennessee a daughter of Sherman and Myrtle Moses Millwood. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Bronson Hospital for 12 years before retiring. She also worked at the Kalamazoo Paper Box for 17 years. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hershel C. Miller in 1977; a daughter, Linda Sue Miller; and 2 brothers, Charles and LeRoy. She is survived by 2 daughters, Esther "Donnell" Dennis McConney of Plainwell and Janith Gail David Grasty of Harrison, TN; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vivian John Reecer of Georgia; a brother, Norman Witt of Signal Mountain, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
