Eric B. Waber

Passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Detroit. Eric was born April 20, 1955 in Kalamazoo the son of John and Patricia (Doig) Waber. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and was employed with the Lear Corporation. Eric enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR. He also enjoyed his Stanley Steamer car and spending time with his family and friends. On October 19, 1991 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Cheryl (VanTimmeren) who survives. Also surviving are his children, Benjamin (Amanda) Waber, Nathan Waber, Elliott Waber; 2 grandchildren, Jackson and Edison; his mother, Patricia Waber; sisters and brothers, Heidi Waber, Sonja Geller, Laurie Waber, Hans (Debbie) Waber, Aaron Waber; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 11 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Interment will follow in Kendall Cemetery. Friends may meet the family from 10:00-11:00am Tuesday prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
