TERRY, Elizabeth R.
Battle Creek, MI Age 74, passed away at her home April 30, 2015. Betsy was born January 22, 1941 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Maurice and Ruth Miller Ashby. Betsy enjoyed drawing, crocheting, knitting, cross stitch and tending her flower garden. Betsy is survived by seven children, Jeffrey Harrison Sr. of Portage, Richard Sue Harrison of Plainwell, Robert Judy Harrison of Kalamazoo, John Harrison, Douglas Terry II, Shannon Terry, Amanda Terry all of Portage; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; also survived by 2 brothers Maurice Ashby, Jr., Michael Barb Ashby, and sister Terri Thorne; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; and special thanks to niece Suzanne Thorne-Odem. She was preceded in death by sister-in-law Janice Ashby. A memorial service will take place Saturday May 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place at a later date. Betsy requested that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
