Donald Lee Munro, age 50, passed away suddenly Friday December 23, 2016 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Don was born December 5, 1966, in Duval County, Florida, the son of Leroy and Mary (Hendricks) Munro. He was employed for several years at Meijer's on Columbia in Battle Creek. Don loved spending time at the ocean and he was an avid salt and freshwater fish aquarium enthusiast. His other passion was VW Beetles and he especially enjoyed owning his 1985 Fiero. On June 22, 2002 he was united in marriage to Wendy S. (Schero) Munro, who survives. Also surviving are his three fur-babies Chutney, Comet and Buddy; his mother-in-law Pat Schero (Richard Ellard); brother-in-law Robert Schero, Jr.; and many other family and special friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Robert Schero, Sr. In accordance with Don's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Memorials in Don's memory may be directed to a charity of your choice.
