Passed away Monday 3/21/16 at the age of 78. He was born 10/25/37 in Tunnelton, WV to the late Clarence & Fonda (Hurst) Grubb. He was united to Wilma Mae Myers who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were sons, Jeffery Grubb and Donald Grubb, Jr. He is survived by children Nelda Purk, Bonnie (Rick) Orosz, Jason (Mellissa) Grubb; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Irene Secreto; and several other family members. He was employed by The City of Kalamazoo Water Dept. until his retirement in 1997. Prior to his retirement he enjoyed racing cars at Galesburg Speedway and Kalamazoo Speedway. Upon retirement he enjoyed restoring antique automobiles, which were shown at many car shows. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to People's Hospice of WV, and Reverence Hospice of Kalamazoo. Celebration of life to be held on 4/10/16 at 11:00 am, "Leon's Corner", 1802 Fulford St. Kalamazoo.
