BLUNK, Delilah
of Kalamazoo Died June 18, 2011 in the Springs at Bronson Place. Delilah was born July 8, 1920 in Francerville, IN, a daughter of Lawrence and Edna Blunk. After coming to Kalamazoo, she became employed at the Upjohn Company as an Administrative Assistant where she worked for 44 years until her retirement. Delilah loved working at the Upjohn Company where she formed many friendships with fellow employees. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling, watching baseball on TV, reading and she was an excellent knitter. She volunteered at the VA Hospital in Battle Creek and was always very meticulous in performing any project in which she was involved. Delilah is survived by aunts, uncles and cousins and a very special friend Marion Tracy of Portage. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 8 in the Mausoleum at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South with the Rev. James Dyke officiating.
