TRIVETT, Darius J. "DJ"
of Galesburg, Michigan Passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the age of 80. Darius was born March 12, 1932 in Dungannon, VA the son of Homer and Ollie Dooley Trivett. He lived in the Galesburg area for many years and worked at General Motors for 25 years. On November 16, 1974 he married Lorean Ray, who survives. Darius is also survived by his children, Deborah, Darius Allen Rose, Aggie Juan, Clarence Judy, Tim Laurie and Crystal; many grand and great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen and Estelle; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son Ralph; and a grandson, Darius Gregory; 2 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 o'clock in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, with Pastor John Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, South. The Family will receive friends on Monday, beginning one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for final expenses.
