of Comstock Cortnie passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was born March 11, 1990 in San Diego, CA. A 2008 graduate of Comstock High School, Cortnie was employed by Wenke Greenhouse. Surviving are her son, Lucas Cahill; father, John Vos, and step-mother, Sing Rong of Kalamazoo; mother, Connie McConnell of Texas; two brothers, Johnny Vos of Ft. Collins, CO and Benjamin & wife Denise Vos of Mexico; 3 step-brothers, Hyden & wife Margaret Zhang of CT, Kevin Zhang of Evanston, IL, and Tyler Zhang of Kalamazoo; step-sister, Whitney Zhang of Kalamazoo; grandmother, Vonnie Vos of Portage; two uncles, Scott & wife Lori Vos of Mattawan and Craig Vos of Portage; aunt, Lorrie Vos of Portage and numerous cousins. Preceding her in death was her grandfather, John Oliver Vos. Funeral services for Cortnie will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cortnie Cahill Memorial Fund.
