Clara Ann Boyle Miller, age 91, formerly of Erie, PA and Chicago, IL, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born in Detroit, MI on July 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Jerry and Ruth Canty Boyle. She was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy, Mercy College in Detroit, and St. Vincent Hospital in Erie. She was employed in nursing at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Mt. Carmel Hospital in Detroit, San Rosario Nursing Home in Cambridge Springs and Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, PA. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Walter "Wally" Lenoir Miller; two daughters, Kathleen (Bob) Miller of Chicago and Patricia Miller of Lincoln, NE; two sons, Michael (Debbie) Miller of Kalamazoo and Mark (Deb) Miller of Lawton, OK; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Mrs. Chester Kutz, Bill and John Boyle. Friends may call at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel,622 S. Burdick St., on Thursday, February 18th from 1-2pm, where a funeral service will begin at 2:00pm. A private interment will take place at a later date. Memorials in Clara's name may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
