Kalamazoo, MI Loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015. Age 66. Chuck was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 12, 1949, son of the late Charles Eugene Fross Sr. and Opal Louise Montgomery Fross. He served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for Eaton Corporation, retiring after many years of service. He is survived by his loving wife Carrie McKinnon Fross; six children and their spouses, Patrick Fross, Robert MJ Fross, Thomas Fross, Amanda John Nelson, Merideth Cory Hammond and Mikki Omar Khayyam; nine grandchildren, Michael, Makenna, Tony, Libby, Ella, Jacob, Shaina Lee, Mason and Trajan; three sisters, Linda Don Way, Vicky Randy Pollard and Sandi Steve Schuyler; and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Fross. Friends may visit with the family from 12 - 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Pastor Ricky Perry will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Alano Club of Kalamazoo.
