HOFFMAN, Mrs. Carol L.
Augusta, MI Went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday evening March 16, 2015. Carol was born September 15, 1945 in Battle Creek, Michigan a daughter of Roger and Mamee Brown Davis. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed as the Galesburg Postmaster for over 30 years before retiring. Carol was also a member of the Gull Lake Area Community Church and volunteered with the Cheff Center for years. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert "Bobby" Davis; and a sister, Judy Davis. On May 22, 1999, she was united in marriage to Cliff "Lee" Hoffman who survives. Also surviving, a daughter, Vicki John Bycroft of Hastings; a step daughter, Michelle Hoffman of Bedford, MI; 6 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren; a sister, Marcia Seevers of San Bernardino, CA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carol touched everyone she came in touch with, with her warm, caring, helpful heart. Please help us celebrate Carol's life 1 o'clock Saturday at the Gull Lake Area Community Church, 9292 East CD Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Fund or the Cheff's Center.
