Carl David Schmidtke

Carl passed away on January 1, 2021 surrounded by his wife and sons. He was born in Portage, Michigan son of David Schmidtke and the late Donna Moe. After Carl completed school, he worked in the automotive industry as a project engineer manager.

He loved spending time on motorcycles and snowmobiles with his friends and spending time with his family. He loved his job and the opportunities he had to travel. Surviving Carl is his wife, Kasandra; dad, David Schmidtke; sons Gavin and Gage Schmidtke; brothers, Don and John Schmidtke; sister Linda Schmidtke and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna and brother Steven.

Please visit Carl's tribute wall to leave a condolence or memory of him. Due to gathering limitations at this time, a private service will be held at the Langland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services and interment will take place at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
