Passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 27, 2018 due to injuries received in an automobile accident, age 18 years. Brennan was born in Kalamazoo on November 20, 1999 the son of Sara Bartosiewicz-Hamilton and the late Scott Hamilton. He had recently graduated from Vicksburg High School, where he participated in the school choir and was a member of the National Honors Society. Brennan loved to spend time with friends and family, had a great sense of humor and was very active. He enjoyed playing lacrosse, skiing and was an avid music lover. He is survived by his mother, Sara Bartosiewicz-Hamilton; sister, Payton Hamilton; grandparents, Gary & Phyllis Bartosiewicz and Michael & Lorraine Hamilton; great-grandmothers, Verna Hamilton and Virginia Baynton; aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Ryan) Edlind, Lisa Bartosiewicz, Laura (Bryan) Boily, Jason (Melanie) Hamilton; cousins, Liam, Tyler & Carter Edlind and Leslie & Alyssa Hamilton; and his best friend, Chase Young. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Hamilton. Friends may visit with the family from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. officiated by Ryan Edlind. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to establish a scholarship in Brennan's name.
