Bonnie Jean (Zylman) Garlick

Passed away Tuesday morning, January 11, 2022. Bonnie was born September 26, 1931, in Schoolcraft, MI, the daughter of Amos and Marjorie (Barber) Zylman. She graduated from Portage High School in 1949, and married her high school sweetheart, Allan Garlick, on July 12, 1952. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved watching them swim in the pool, as well as attending all of their sporting events. Bonnie enjoyed baking and cooking. Her chocolate chip cookies were loved by everyone. It made her happy to see people enjoy a meal she provided. She was a warm and welcoming woman who made everyone feel at home and was quick with a hug and a smile. She had two true loves in life: her husband and her family.

Bonnie was married to her loving husband, Allan for 69 years, who preceded her in death on November, 28, 2021. Surviving are her children Kim O'Brien (Brad), Kris Garlick (Sheryl), Vicki Smith , Cathy Schmidtke, Rick Garlick (Sharon); 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
