Passed away Wednesday morning, December 2, 2015. Bev was born July 27, 1937 in Hastings, MI the daughter of Lester and Winifred (Weston) Boyer. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Battle Creek Eagles. On June 21, 1955 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, James Tyria who preceded her in death on May 3, 1997. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and sister, Paul, Dwaine, Richard and Elaine. She is survived by her children, Roger (Sue) Tyria, Terri Geer, Mike (Sheryl) Tyria, Jackie Tyria; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Don (Rita) Boyer, Gloria (Tom) DuMouchel; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday, December 8 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 939 Charlotte Ave with Fr. James Richardson, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway where there will be a Rosary Service at 7:00pm.
