MEYER, Mrs. Beverly J.
of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away Monday evening December 5, 2011 at Heritage Community of Kalamazoo. Beverly was born January 10, 1925 in Sturgis, Michigan the daughter of Floyd and Mildred Gooden Kissel. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Mead Paper Company for 16 years before retiring. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Charles, Robert, and Floyd Kissel Jr.; and a grandson. She is survived by 3 children, Sharron Wetherbee, Tammie VanAvery, and Marc Kayla Laning all of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
