Bernice A. Wolinski

Wolinski, Bernice A. Portage, MI Passed away on Saturday August 1, 2015. Age 95. Bernice was born on March 14, 1920 in Washburn, WI, the daughter of the late Alfred and Esetella (Gaugnier) Tourville. She owned and operated Bernice's Beauty Salon for 20 years. She enjoyed singing and belonged to the Sweet Adeline's singing group. She attended St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Bernice was married to Virgil Treberg, who preceded her in death. She later married John Wolinski, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Karen Treberg of Portage, Paulette (Muhammad) Rafi of Battle Creek and John Wolinski of Kalamazoo; four grandchildren, Ismaiel, Abraham, Emily and Alison; one great-grandchild, Evan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and seven sisters. Friends may visit with the family at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 13th in the chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. Interment will follow after the visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to Reverence Home Health and Hospice.
