Died Sunday morning August 27, 2015. Barbara was born September 15, 1931 in Whiting, Kansas of George and Laura (Tye) Boothe. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed as a caregiver for many years. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; and a sister. She is survived by 5 children, Glynn Roberts of Louisiana, Gary Roberts of Kalamazoo , Robin Wilkins of Allegan, Ronda (Greg) Welch of Junction City, AR, and Scott (Robin) Whipple of Baldwin, MI; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Anatomical donation has taken place with the University of Michigan. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
