Barbara passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Kalamazoo MI at the age of 74. She was born on December 17, 1942 in Knoxville, TN a daughter of the late Bart M. and Ruth (Turner) Wilson. On May 2, 1961 Barbara married Jack L. Posey who preceded her in death in August of 1991. Barbara was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Posey, a daughter Robin Posey and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are two daughters, Jaqueline "Susie" Slumkoski and Sherry Breeding both of Portage; five grandchildren, Amanda (Vance) Outlaw, Rick Slumkoski, Jessica Posey, Kevin (Ashley) Posey and Samantha Slumkoski; seven great-grandchildren, Trae Outlaw, Mikaela Outlaw, Andre Outlaw, Aiden Posey, Amelia Wilson, Jaxson Meyers and Jace Posey; and several nieces and nephews. Private gathering and interment have taken place. A memorial service is being planned and will take place in the near future. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
