Barbara "Jean" Mack

Barbara "Jean" Mack, age 93 of Kalamazoo, died on April 22, 2022. She was born on January 1, 1929, in Galesburg, the daughter of Henry and Harriet (Loew) Kamps. Jean attended school and earned her LPN license. She worked for 21 years as an LPN in intensive care for pediatrics. Jean enjoyed her time living in Florida, attending church, and playing cards with her friends. She was married to Donald B. Mack, who preceded her in death. Her family includes her children: James (Georgia) Roach, Jack (Deb) Roach, John (Anna) Roach, Vera Peterson, Donald (Debbra) Mack, and Michael (Linda) Greis; her daughter-in-law, Karon Roach; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister Margaret "Pete" Nelson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, her son Jerry Roach, her brother and sisters: Gladys, Dorothy, Belva, Verna, Hiram, and Joyce. Friends may visit with her family on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, where her services will be held at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jean's name may be directed to Centrica Care Navigators or the Schoolcraft Fire Department.
