Audrey E. Herson

HERSON, Audrey E. of Vicksburg, Michigan Passed away December 30, 2013 at her home. Audrey was born December 22, 1923 in Athens, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Ady Russell. She was a 1942 graduate of Vicksburg High School, was a resident of the area for many years and was employed by the Kellogg Company for 40 years. In 1944, she married Alfred Heminger, who preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother. In 1992, she married John Herson, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Lynn Russell of Constantine, MI; 4 children; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, on Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Wakeshma Community Church, 16732 East UV Ave, with Pastor David Mackaloso, officiating. A visitation will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Heartland Hospice or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
