Wilma A Tinklenberg

TINKLENBERG, Wilma A.
of Portage, Michigan Passed away November 17, 2008 at Rose Arbor Hospice. She was born November 20, 1922 in Kalamazoo, to the late Henry and Ida Detmers Wolthuis. She was married to Nelson Tinklenberg on November 21, 1945 who preceded her in death in 1998. She had been a lifelong member of Third Reformed Church and subsequently of Southridge Reformed Church. Surviving Wilma are her children, Guy Tinklenberg of Portage and Sandi Rick Overgaard of Portage; grandchildren, Zack and Kay Tarleton; step-grandchildren, Heather, Ben, Erica and Carrie, all Overgaard's; brother-in-law, John Tinklenberg; sister-in-law, Betty Zuidema; and several nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Wolthuis. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 22nd , 3:00 o'clock at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Avenue. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. A private burial, for family, will take place at South Portage Cemetery.
