Wilma L. ''Bebe'' Thomas

THOMAS, Mrs. Wilma L. Bebe Kalamazoo, MI Much loved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Bebe died Friday morning February 23, 2007. Bebe was born November 3, 1936 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, a daughter of Raymond and Lora Howard Friel. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the City of Kalamazoo for 19 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Raymond Friel. On January 14, 1961, she was united in marriage to Ralph E. Thomas, who survives. Also surviving, 4 children, Raymond Angel Thomas of Woodland Park, CO, Timothy Thomas of Kalamazoo, Ralph Sylvia Thomas of Denver, CO, and Terry Julie Thomas of Grand Rapids; 3 grandchildren, Raymond Jr., Tyler, and Max; 7 brothers and sisters, James Sharon Friel of Martin, Rubie Donald Brest of Otsego, Linda Edward Delmoro of Burnsville, MN, Nell Swinsick of Richland, Diana Perry Deiwert of Sun City, AZ, Thomas Nesbitt of Kalamazoo, and Kenneth Nesbitt of San Diego, CA; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Friends may meet the family 6-8pm Monday. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the A.L.S. West Michigan Chapter.
