of Portage, Michigan Went to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday evening, December 23, 2012. Wilma was born August 29, 1931 in Logan, WV the daughter of Robert and Lillian Nunnally Spears. She was a member of Fourth Reformed Church. Wilma touched the lives of many people with her uplifting personality and made friends everywhere she went. On December 31, 1949 she was united in marriage to Emery Lewis, Jr. who preceded her in death on February 14, 2005. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sharon; a Grandson Hosea, 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Edward, Eva, Russell, Robert and Eileen, and infant brother, Buster. Surviving is her husband, Clifford Vickers; her children, Carol Dave Cleveland, Jan Curry, Gary Marcia Lewis, Sandy Jim Vickers; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers, Louise Jim Barker, Johnny Thelma Spears, Charles Spears; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family on Friday, December 28, from 10-12 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where funeral services will be held at 12:00. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery . The family would like to thank all the staff at Bronson Methodist Hospital for such loving care given to her and her family. We would also like to thank everyone for their prayers & concerns for her & our family during this difficult time. She loved you all so much. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center or the Kalamazoo Christian Schools Association.
