Fulton Passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009. Bill was born February 26, 1929 in Leroy Township, the son of William and Clara Jacobsen VanMiddlesworth and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a farmer for over 65 years in the Fulton and Climax area, had worked for General Motors for 25 years and for Post Cereal for 5 years. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a salt of the earth person, who attended Wakeshma Community Church for 40 years, loved his Lord and his grandchildren. Bill was a wise old sage who loved watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Bill O'Rielly. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 children, 3 half-sisters and one half-brother. Bill is survived by his wife, Wanda Green VanMiddlesworth; a daughter, Susan Steve Nunnally of Aliso Viejo, CA; two grand daughters, Abigail and Alexandra; a brother, Peter Janice VanMiddlesworth; a half-sister, Grace Frank Thorpe of East LeRoy; brother-in-law, Ervin Kathy Green; sister-in-law, Waneta Cobb; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Leroy Congregational Church, 1997 H Drive South, East Leroy, MI with Pastor David Mackaluso officiating. Interment will follow in Leroy Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 East Maple St. on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gideon's Samaritan's Purse or the Wakeshma Community Church.
