SELLES, Mr. William "Bill"
Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday afternoon July 3, 2008. Bill was born March 5, 1925 in Holland, Michigan a son of William and Martha Bouwkamp Selles. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1964 and was employed with Kalamazoo Christian Schools for 25 years before retiring. He was also a member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Selles; 2 sisters, Anne and Kathryn; and a brother, Bert. On June 21, 1952, he was united in marriage to Helen M. Hoekstra Selles who survives. Also surviving, a son, Bill Sandra Selles of Kentwood, MI; 2 daughters, Betty Edward Prusinski of Mishawaka, IN and Mary Jim Nywening of Elkhart, IN; a daughter-in-law, Jean Selles of Manhattan, MT; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helene Kooi of Grand Rapids and Maxine Willard Haak of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 2857 South 11th St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland.
