William Clinton Buell

William Clinton Buell passed away February 1, 2022. He was born November 30, 1928, in Kalamazoo, MI, son of the late Clinton and Pauline (Heindel) Buell. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1946. William's family were early settlers to Oshtemo Township, and he lived most of his life there. He lived in the 170-year-old family farmhouse. He owned and operated Kalamazoo Implement Company, which was the first retail business on Stadium Drive. William farmed for 35 years before retiring. William served on several township boards over the years and was a member of the Oshtemo Historical Society. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, hunting, and spending winters in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

William married the former Darlene F. Rossio in 1949 and she survives him. Also surviving are his children, Cathy Buell, Karen (Daryl) Wall, Lewis (Cherie) Buell, and Tom (Barb) Buell; seven grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be announced for Spring of 2022. Final resting place will be in Genesee Prairie Cemetery.
