ALLEN, Mr. William H.
Portage, MI Died Wednesday morning June 23, 2010. William was born July 30, 1931 in Eastern Township, Illinois a son of Lexia and Ella Warren Allen. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Allied Paper Company for 39 years before retiring. William was also a member of the Otsego Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and 3 brothers. On June 30, 1950, he was united in marriage to Claudine Downs Allen who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Jewell Joseph Perry of Wyoming, MI and William Dawn Allen, Jr. of Kalamazoo; 9 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
