WEAVER, Wayne D. Bradenton, FL Formerly of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. He was born September 6, 1930 in Batesville, IN, son of the late Alex and Christine Gregory Weaver. Wayne proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps, from October of 1947 until honorably discharged in October of 1951 where he also served in the Korean Conflict. He attended Zion Lutheran Church for many years. His love for his family came above all else, but in his spare time, he loved to golf and go bike riding. He worked 42 years at James River Corporation as a printer, until he retired in 1992. He married Rosemary Wheelock in Kalamazoo, on October 14, 1949, who survives. Surviving Wayne are; children, Steven D. Cheryl Weaver of FL, James R. Weaver of Texas Corners, MI; grandchildren, Kelly Chris Brenner and Kim Fatato; great grandchildren, Paige and Seth Brenner, Josh Fatato; sister-in-law, Helen Weaver; brother-in-law, Ted Wheelock; step grandchildren, Kelly and Rob; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place on Monday, September 10th, 1:00PM, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 Kings Hwy, Pastor Louis Grother, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 11 ? 12:00PM at the chapel. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery with military honors, 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Wayne?s name to the American Heart Association. The family invites all who knew and loved Wayne, to a ?celebration of life? gathering at the Lake, Friday, September 7th at 4:00PM.
