CHASE, Wanda A. Spitzner
Of Portage Wanda passed away Sunday morning, November 21, 2010 at Heartland Heath Care Center. She was born April 30, 1932 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Walter and Lela Love Spitzner. On August 7, 1950, she was united in marriage to Donald Chase, who survives. Also surviving are their five children, Cheryl Doug Leversee of Kalamazoo, Donald Chase Jr. of Climax, Judith Bob Farnham of Climax, Laura David Soderquist of Galesburg and Michael Laura Chase of Portage; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, James Roberta Spitzner of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Wanda will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday tomorrow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., with Rev. James Dyke officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 PM on Tuesday today at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Memorial contributions may be directed to America Parkinson's Disease Association or American Diabetes Association.
