HENDRICHSEN, Walter H.
Kalamazoo, MI Walter passed away Saturday afternoon, January 26, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born October 31, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the son of Henry and Winifred Wynne Hendrichsen. Walter was a veteran of the United States Army serving 2 years. On June 28, 1959, he was united in marriage to the former Mary Edwards. He was employed as an electrician with Allied Paper Co. and the City of Kalamazoo until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dwight Hendrichsen; a sister, Carol Barton Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Mary Hendrichsen; three children, Randy Hendrichsen of Comstock, Martin Vickie Hendrichsen of Galesburg and Kerry Kristy Peck Hendrichsen of Comstock; three grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Danielle; two sisters, Eileen Ron Bagley of Kalamazoo and Vicki Roger Myhre of Lebanon, TN; three brothers, Don Sandy Hendrichsen of Coldwater, Jerry Marie Conroy of Kalamazoo and Dan Melody Conroy of Plainwell; a sister-in-law, Elsie Hendrichsen of Kalamazoo; a brother-in-law, Bill Barton of Scotts; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1o'clock Saturday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock at a later date.
