of Kalamazoo Passed away January 29, 2011 in Paw Paw. She was born March 31, 1924 in Kalamazoo, to the late James and Wave Stratton Teachout. She married Clare R. Diamon on April 17, 1943, who preceded her in death in 1994. Virginia enjoyed baking, traveling, crafts and spending time with her family. Virginia is survived by her children, Lani Margie Diamon of Schoolcraft, Guyneal �Jill� Roland Harring of Paw Paw, Vicki Daniel Beale of Three Rivers, Teresa Herbert DeKoff of Allegan and C. Douglas Wendy Diamon of Kalamazoo; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Joe VanBruggen, Nancy Jim Schutter Purk and Kay Longenecker; brothers, Richard Teachout and Robert Fern Teachout; sisters-in-law, Constance Heinz, Virginia Marvin Evans and Millie Diamon; brother-in-law, Gideon Katie Diamon; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Virginia in death were sisters, Beverly Breithaupt and Patricia White; and brother-in-law, Jack Diamon. Services will take place on Wednesday, 11:00am at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6-8:00pm. A private interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Memorials in Virginia�s name may be directed to Borgess Hospice and Visiting Nurses Association.
