Of Gobles Virginia passed away Tuesday morning, September 15, 2009 at her home. She was born May 7, 1925 in Hastings, the daughter of Walter and Iva Valentine Grinnells. On July 13, 1943, Virginia was united in marriage to Felix Czuk. Surviving are their 6 children, Janet Richard Hart of Soquel, CA, Michael Frankie Czuk of Parchment, Peter Connie Selles Czuk of Gobles, David Rosemary Czuk of Gobles, Joseph Linda Wayne Czuk of Gobles, and Stephen Czuk of Soquel, CA; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca, Heather, Sarah, Michelle, Audrey, Racheal, and Jacob; 7 great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Gabriella, Greta, Asher, Shelby, A.J., and Zachary; 1 great-great-grandchild; Ashlyn-Rain; 2 sisters, Fern Micheau of Portland, IN, and Nellie Fidler of Santa Rosa, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Felix, on September 16, 1971; 1 grandson, Michael Czuk; 3 brothers, Harold, Elmer, and Theodore Welch; and 3 sisters, Frances Ward, Mildred Friend, and Violet Miller. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 13809 M-40, Gobles, with Fr. James Adams celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
