Violet E. Bryan-Pfau, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was born March 31, 1941 to the late Clarence and Anna Belle (Masten) Oswalt. Violet was united in marriage to William Pfau on December 29, 1990, who preceded her in death in May of 2006. Violet was an active member of her church (health permitting), and a loving mother, and wife. Violet had a diverse professional history including working with the Federal Government, a leading pharmaceutical company, and entrepreneur later in life. Violet is survived by her son, John (Michelle) Krause; siblings, Lillian (Stan) Majewski and Allen (Wilma) Oswalt; 1 granddaughter, Karlie Mandigo; 1 great-grandson, Carter Mandigo; "adopted" grandson, Michael Risher; brother-in-law, Carl (Jeannie) Pfau; and many nieces and nephews. Violet was also preceded in death by sons, Timothy and Eric Starr. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, July 3rd, 10:00am at Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock.
