Vickie Marie Gwynn

Vickie Marie Gwynn died Friday, April 14, 2023, in Kalamazoo MI. She was born January 6, 1953, in Kalamazoo the daughter of Henry and Betty Lou (Schusler) Kuilema and had been a lifelong area resident.

Vickie graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and earned an associate degree from Davenport College. She retired from Michigan Bell/AT&T after 31 years of service. In her younger years, Vickie enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson. Later, she enjoyed camping with her husband, James, attending Renaissance Fairs, and collecting jewelry.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Martha Kuilema; stepson, Jason Lee Gwynn; and stepbrother-in-law, Dan Boyd. On February 14, 1997, she married James L. Gwynn who survives. Vickie is also survived by her son, Mark Rollin Gregory, granddaughter, Hannah Marie Gwynn; stepsisters, Wanda Boyd, Sherry (Nick) Barrett, and Patti (Tom) Holmes; half-brothers, Henry (Connie) Kuilema, and Thomas Drake; half-sister, Julie (Tom) Kohl; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends, JoAnna Reis, Samantha Johnson, Jayne Johnson, Chrissy Ridenour, and the Stamm family.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2-5pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick St, Kalamazoo MI 49007. Committal services will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, at 1pm in East Cooper Cemetery.
