Vicki L. Haan-Boone

HAAN-BOONE, Vicki
of Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 at her home in Kalamazoo. Vicki was born August 14, 1957 in Grand Rapids, MI to John H. and Joanne Winkel Haan. She will be remembered for her compassion and giving spirit, her fierce fight for justice, and her enthusiasm for outdoor activities in both work and play. Surviving Vicki are her life partner, Shari Boone; children, Thomas Maring, David Haan, Jared Boone and Tori Boone, all of Kalamazoo; parents; parents-in-law, Sandy and Jerry Boone; sisters, Pam Leo Nyhof, Karen Ted Haan-Gower; sister-in-law, Karen David Arnold; brother-in-law, John Cheryl Boone; 12 nieces and nephews; and 2 grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Haan in August of this year. There will be a visitation for friends and family, Friday, December 14th from 5 ? 8:00PM, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo. Services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, December 15th at Skyridge Church of the Brethren where she was a member. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome to the memorial fund at the Skyridge Church, 394 S. Drake Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
