Kalamazoo Died January 26, 2014 at age 64. Vernon was born April 11, 1949 in Spencer, MA to the late Lucien and Hariett Reid Laventure. He was united in marriage to Marion Bohm on November 20, 1971. Vernon is survived by his wife, Marion Laventure; brothers, Lucien Lollie Laventure, Jeffrey Lynn Laventure, Philip Laventure and Tony Holla Laventure; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by sons David and Steven Laventure. No visitation or services are scheduled. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Memorials may be directed to Kalamazoo Humane Society.
