Kalamazoo, MI Allen died Sunday afternoon, October 4, 2009, in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born January 2, 1951, in Kalamazoo, MI, a son of Vernon E and Mary E. Veres Munson and had been a life long area resident. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. Allen was preceded in death by his mother on April 1, 1996. He is survived by: his father and step-mother, Vernon & Carole Munson of Kalamazoo; brothers, David Pam Munson of Kalamazoo, Mark Debbie Munson of Paw Paw, Michael Munson of Kalamazoo, Brian Munson of Hawaii, Robert Judy Munson of Mecosta, Jeffrey Munson of Holland and Duane Sherry Munson of Plainwell; several step-brothers and step-sisters; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held 3:00 Friday afternoon at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Pastor Tom Pace, officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the funeral home. Private interment in Riverside Cemetery will be held at a later date.
