Vanita passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born on March 11, 1918 in Pierre, SD to the late Buford and Rosella (Olson) Silbaugh. On October 29, 1946, she was united in marriage to Robert C. Reinbold. Vanita was a registered nurse for many years working at both VA Medical Center in Battle Creek and Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Surviving is a grandson, Mikhael Ahren of Kalamazoo. Preceding her in death were her husband of 50 years: Robert Reinbold; son: Robert Reinbold; daughter: Rosella Schram; five brothers and a sister. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1112 N. Drake Road. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association.
