Of Kalamazoo Tyler passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was born September 17, 1987 in Kalamazoo, the son of Craig and Barbara Salik Flower. A 2005 graduate of Comstock High School, Tyler worked for his family's Subway Restaurant for the past six years. Preceding him in death were his mother, Barbara Flower on April 6, 1992 and grandfather, Homer Flower. Surviving are his father and step-mother, Craig and Susan Scohy Flower; two sisters, Courtney and Morgan Flower; grandparents, Virginia Flower of Kalamazoo, Nancy and Lester Springer of Portage, Tom and Donna Salik of Charlotte, Lou and Kay Scohy of Sturgis, and Judith McWatters of Three Rivers; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Tyler will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 N. 26th Street. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. Memorial contributions may be directed to Jim Gilmore, Jr. Community Healing Center.
