BENSINGER, Trula H. Of Kalamazoo Went home to be with her Lord, Sunday June 10, 2007. Trula was born October 25, 1928 in Allegan, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Mabel Daniels Adams. For 30 years Trula was an elementary school teacher, beginning in rural schools and then with Comstock Public Schools for 26 years. She was a member of the Northeastern Baptist Church where she had been active in Choir, Sunday School, Ladies Bible Study, Young Peoples Quiz Team and the Prayer Chain. She had also been involved in the Gull Lake Ministries, the retired teachers association and had traveled on mission trips several times to Russia and the Ukraine. On July 15, 1955 she was united in marriage to Earl V. Bensinger who survives. Also surviving are her children, Michael Ann Bensinger of Kalamazoo and Amy Daniel Jepsen of Franklin, IN; five grandchildren, Brian and Mark Bensinger, Rachel, Joseph and Sarah Jepsen; a sister, Gloria Shumaker of Plainwell; two brothers, N. Edward Barbara Adams of Allegan and George MaryLou Adams of Vicksburg; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the Northeastern Baptist Church 6536 East G Ave. with Pastor George Coon officiating. Following services friends are invited to join the family in the church hall for a time of food and fellowship. Memorials in Trula?s memory may be directed to the Northeastern Baptist Church Building Fund.
