Trena A. (Mejeur) Meyers

Trena Meyers, age 92, of Kalamazoo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Trena was born September 23, 1930, in Kalamazoo, MI, daughter of Theodore and Grace (Holthouse) Mejeur. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph (Jack) Meyers; grandson Mark Andrew Bagley; sister Alareka Block; brothers George Mejeur and John Mejeur and sister-law E. Joanne Mejeur; brothers-in law George VanderWeele and William Meyers. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shirley (Hervé) Recipon, Carol (Ken) Meyers and Priscilla (Steve) Schurr; grandchildren Brad (Jessica) Bagley and Lisa Bagley (Jason Radke); great-grandchildren Jadie, Maci and Darby Bagley, Jalen Radke, Brody Bagley-Bond, and Bennett Bagley Radke; sister Anna Ruth VanderWeele, brother Theodore Mejeur Jr. (Jan); sister-in-law, Rosalyn Meyers, brother-in-law Wayne Block Sr.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A service to celebrate Trena’s life will be held 11:00 Saturday morning, August 12, 2023, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S. 9th St, Kalamazoo MI 49009. Trena’s family will greet guests at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 and again following the service. Private graveside services will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Second Christian Reformed Church’s Youth Ministry or Centrica Care Navigators (formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan).
