Tracy Lynn Bailey

On December 21^st, we lost our beautiful, loving daughter, Tracy, 50 years old, from Alzheimer’s disease. Tracy was born on January 15, 1973, with Down Syndrome and showed how a unique person could spread so much love and joy for 50 years.

She was born in Toronto, Canada, to her parents Susan and Russell Bailey, who moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, when Tracy was 5 years old, along with her twin brothers Trevor and Michael. Tracy become an American Citizen along with the rest of the family.

Tracy was active for many years, in the Special Olympics and focused on swimming events. In 1993, when the family moved to the Kalamazoo area, Tracy joined a blind bowling league and enjoyed the company of other visually impaired people.

Music was her life; with a few notes of a song, she could tell you the name and artist of that tune.

Tracy graduated from VBISD and worked at MRC until COVID-19, when they shut down.

Tracy is survived by her parents, Russell and Susan Bailey, her brother Michael, and her three nephews: Cole, Grayson, and Dillon Bailey.

No services are being held at this time; the family will hold a Celebration of life with family and friends in the spring of this year.
