VANDERSLIK, Thomas M.
Of Portage Loving daddy, son, brother, uncle, and friend gone too soon; passed away Tuesday evening, February 22, 2011. Tom was born December 6, 1970 the son of Donald and Judy Hoffmaster Vanderslik and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo and Portage area. He was a graduate of Portage Central High School and enjoyed fishing, music, cars, and animals; especially his cats. Tom was always there for others in need, only a phone call away. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his best friend and light of his life; his daughter Autumn Lynn Vanderslik, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, Don Judy Vanderslik; grandmother, Carol Vanderslik; his brother, Timothy Betty Vanderslik; 3 nieces, Jacki, Jenna, and Corey; 2 aunts, Chris Mike Price, Sue VanLent; and several cousins. There will be no visitation. A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Animals Best Friends, or the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
