Thomas L. Richmond

RICHMOND, Thomas L. Of Kalamazoo Passed away Monday April 30, 2007. Tom was born February 23, 1945 in Kalamazoo the son of Thomas F. and Mary Musich and had been a life long resident in the Kalamazoo area. He had been employed for several years with Stap Bros in sales and customer service and was a member of the Covenant United Reformed Church. On May 18, 1963 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Kathy Lanting who survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Becky Richmond, Brenda Robert Heideman, Thomas Barbara Richmond, Kimberly Juha Silvola, Sheryl Keith VanAtti; 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Cody, Katelyn, Sammie, Kelsey, Brianna, Annaliisa, Jasmine, Mark, and Jennifer; 4 sisters, Mary Lou Richard Gerke, Rose Holt, Sue Roller, Terri Dave Miller; brothers and sister-in-law, Ron Lorraine Lanting, Paul Wilma Lanting, Eleanor Neieuwenhuis; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 o?clock Friday at the Covenant United Reformed Church, 3724 Lovers Lane, with Rev. Wybren Oord officiating. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Private family interment will be in Genesee Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Center.
