CONOR, Thomas B.
Of Augusta, MI Passed away Monday November 16, 2009 at the Mayo Clinic. Tom was born June 8, 1946 in Allegan the son of Eugene and Esther Bestervelt Conor. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. Tom earned his Masters from Western Michigan University and had graduate classes at the University of Michigan. Tom was a school administrator for over 30 years, retiring from KRESA in Kalamazoo County in 2005. He enjoyed boating, John Deere tractors, and working on his tree farm. On February 15, 1969 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Marsha Siebert, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Michelle Duane Fish, Katharine Conor, Patrick Amy Conor; 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, and Casey; brother and sister, Jim Kay Conor, Sue Lignell; and a nephew, Chris Conor. Tom was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Conor. Friends may meet the family Saturday from 6-8pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 o'clock Monday at the St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 421 Monroe with Father Ken Schmidt, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Ft.
