BENNETT, Thomas L.
of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away January 30, 2009 at Bronson Hospital. He was born December 30, 1945, to the late Walter Sr., and Evangeline LaCroix Bennett. Tom was united in marriage to the former Linda Austin, March 10, 1984, who survives. Also surviving Tom are his children, Lisa Mark Sobol of Monroe, Shelley Eric Garcia of Middleville, Steven Jennifer Bennett of Monroe, Bill Penny Vande Giessen of Climax and Tamara Ely of Mattawan; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Walter Bennett, Jr., and Bob Cicy Bennett; sister, Sister Marianne Bennett. Tom was an insurance agent for 40 years. He and his wife, Linda owned Bennett & Bennett Insurance Agency, retiring in August of 2001. He worked briefly at Marvin Okun Ins. Agency and independently after. A member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Parchment, he was the President of the Pastoral Council. Arrangements made by Langeland Funeral Home.
