LINDERMAN, Mr. Theodore G. "Ted"
Galesburg, MI Died Friday afternoon October 12, 2012. Ted was born to Vernon and Vera Howland Linderman June 3, 1926 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Air Force . He was a WKZO television celebrity, "Beanie Brown" and "Ted and Benji" of the Channel 3 Club House in late 50s and early 60s. In addition, he was a free-lance musician and artist throughout his career. Ted also worked for Gilmore Brothers, Perrigo Company and the City of Battle Creek. After he officially retired, Ted was self-employed for the last 20 years. Ted was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Mary Linderman; and second wife, Naomi Fox-Thorsen Linderman; his brother, Robert Linderman; and sister, Betty Nap. He is survived by four children, Michael Patricia Linderman, Todd Linderman, Lisa Green, and Marla Gary Imhoff; and five step children, Michael Thorsen, Lisa Christopher Alling, Lynn Todd McNinch, Doug Susan Thorsen, and Tia Mike Travis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1:30 Friday at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Alzheimer's Foundation. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
