Theodore A. Lawrence

LAWRENCE, Mr. Theodore "Ted" A.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday morning March 30, 2012 at his residence. Ted was born May 8, 1926 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Harold and Nellie Rosewarne Lawrence. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with the Marsh-McLennan Insurance Group for 30 years, retiring in 1988. Ted was also a member of the First Congregational Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. On September 3, 1946, he was united in marriage to Marilyn S. Schutz Lawrence who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Michael Lawrence and Janis Stanley Weller all of Kalamazoo; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin Bruex, Christine Kevin Cypret, and Katherine Lawrence; and a cousin. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church.
