Died Friday morning January 26, 2018. Ted was born February 19, 1935 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Nicholas and Tillie (VanderVeen) Howing. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Frederick Howing on January 9, 2009. He is survived by a sister, Genevieve Brussee of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3 at 11:00 o'clock a.m. at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 2857 S 11th St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Heritage Christian Reformed Church. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
